Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining Shopify websites and applications. You will be responsible for creating custom Shopify themes implementing thirdparty plugins and ensuring the overall performance and scalability of our ecommerce platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to create userfriendly and visually appealing websites.
  
• Create and manage custom Shopify apps to enhance functionality and performance.
  
• Ensure responsive design and crossbrowser compatibility for all Shopify websites.
  
• Integrate thirdparty applications and plugins to enhance site functionality.
  
• Maintain and update existing Shopify websites to improve performance and security.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify sites including bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  
• Optimize websites for speed performance and search engine optimization (SEO).
  
• Implement best practices for onpage SEO and site architecture to improve search rankings.
  
• Monitor and analyze site performance making necessary adjustments for optimal user experience.
  
• Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of branding and marketing strategies.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members regarding Shopify best practices and features.
  
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Shopify development.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  
• 45 years of handson experience in Shopify development.
  
• Proficiency in frontend languages such as HTML CSS JavaScript and Liquid.
  
• Experience with Shopifys API and custom app development.
  
• Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices and online merchandising.
  
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and project management tools (e.g. Jira).
  

Skills Required:

• Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean efficient and welldocumented code.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and site optimization techniques.
