Our client is seeking an experienced energetic and focused Senior Bartender who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to join their team. Situated in the bustling heart of Dublins City Centre the bar enjoys a steady flow of regular customers a vibrant passing trade and a thriving food business.

Role:

The Senior Bartender will oversee the daily bar operations ensuring high standards of service health and safety. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient and profitable performance of the bar while supporting and developing the team in line with the companys business model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
• Staff Support and Training:
  • Assist in training and coaching bar staff.
  • Support staff in adhering to standard operating procedures and established codes of practice.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to improve staff performance and service quality.
• Operational Management:
  • Monitor and maintain health safety and hygiene standards in the bar area.
  • Assist in organising staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with bar security procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation and serving of beverages maintaining high quality and consistency.
• Inventory and Cost Control:
  • Assist in managing inventory levels including ordering and stock rotation.
  • Implement cost control measures to minimise waste and maximise profitability.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a busy bar environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
• Experience in supporting and developing a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work shifts during weekends and holidays.
