NET Software Engineer to ABAX Poland

In this position you will play a key role in developing our products within a fullstack team. Based at our Tech Center in Gdansk you will collaborate with local colleagues and remotely with team members in Norway and external partners. As part of a fully agile team you will maintain continuous alignment with your peers.

Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with the Product Manager and UX Engineer to understand the products vision client requirements and market needs. Additionally you will work with your Team Lead using ABAXs internal system for personal and professional development to enhance your growth within the organization.

Some of the things you will be working on:

• Implement new product requirements and make sure they fit into the existing software design or propose necessary changes to ensure the compatibility.
• Work closely together with the Product Manager in finding the most useful solution for our customers and market needs.
• Keep the solutions lightweight and cloudready for our SaaS offerings in close cooperation with you team and assigned engineers and architects.
  
• Deliver and perform code reviews of other developers code on demand and give constructive feedback on improvements and challenges.
• Test and automate testing of produced code in order to quality assure code components of code and end user experience.

We believe you bring:

• We are seeking a midsenior profile with some years of experience as a C# developer specifically focusing on .NET Core.
• Good experience working with distributed software architecture and messaging technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP and how to work with HTTPbased APIs including REST based ones and GRPC.
• Practical experience with a wide range of storage technologies from EventStore and MongoDB to SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• DevOps mindset capable of handling automation and build maintenance aiming for continuous delivery and deployment using Docker Kubernetes GCP AWS.
  
• Experience working in an agile development environment with Kanban and/or Scrum.
  
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
  

Nicetohave:

• Familiarity and/or practical experience (preferred) with BDD TDD CQRS Event Sourcing and especially DDD.
• Familiarity and/or practical experience with frontend technologies like Vue TypeScript Angular and React is a plus.
