Join our team at this company leading the toner product market and contribute to shaping the foremost manufacturing company in the office printing industry.

We are currently looking for a proficient Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team for the 2nd Shift (3:00 pm 11:30 pm) focusing on our Toner Operations. As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will leverage your strong technical expertise to effectively manage our dynamic and automated Toner manufacturing processes. Your role will encompass supervising daily operations in toner production guiding operators troubleshooting equipment and production issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Additionally you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive production records and generating progress reports daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and exemplify a safetyfirst culture! All team members must adhere to safe operational procedures and practices ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Supervise hourly personnel involved in various activities including machine operation fabrication product preparation preventive maintenance and quality inspection.
  • Plan daily operations adjust work assignments production processes and equipment as needed to meet production schedules and maintain SEQCD standards.
  • Communicate train and enforce company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Recommend updates to daily procedures as necessary.
  • Participate in the testing and integration of new products into production processes.
  • Monitor processes collect data and analyze results to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Investigate production issues and product quality concerns taking proactive measures and tracking outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of ISO procedures forms operator reports and visual aids ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Review and consolidate production reports preparing productivity and quality reports for management review.
  • Encourage employee engagement in companysponsored programs and initiatives.
  • Respond to and provide initial first aid for accidents conducting preliminary investigations identifying root causes and reporting incidents to EH&S.
  • Follow procedures for reporting and managing safety violations and accidents appropriately suggesting corrective and preventive actions as needed and implementing decisions made by management.

Qualifications :

Education

Preferred

Technical/other training or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field.

Experience

Required

Japanese is preferred.

Training will be provided during the 1st shift (7:00 am 3:30 pm) for several months until proficiency is achieved to transition to the 2nd shift.

Ability to work the 2nd Shift (3:00 pm 11:30 pm) with flexibility for overtime and occasional weekends.

2 years of:

Familiarity with manufacturing operations processes and protocols.

Experience in drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as creating forms visual aids graphs and presentations.

Intermediate proficiency in mathematics for calculating yields variances material costs and labor costs.

Demonstrated leadership abilities including team building and motivation to support organizational goals.

Strong attention to detail ensuring meticulous and precise work execution.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

Preferred experience in operations involving mixing kneading or milling.
