Job Description

This is a remote position.

  • Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile daily bills on XERO to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Invoice Management: Raise invoices on SimPro and ensure they are accurately recorded and sent.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee and manage the payroll process ensuring timely and accurate payment to
  • employees.
  • Contractor Invoices: Raise contractor invoices on SimPro and export the data to XERO for processing.
  • End of Month (EOM) Bills: Prepare and provide EOM bills to be paid to Greg including sending an ABA file for
  • payments.
  • Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile payments received from customers to ensure all accounts are up to date.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Tasks: Handle any related tasks that might arise concerning accounts on a daily basis.


Requirements

  • Over 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables.
  • Proficient in using XERO and quick to learn new systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills for efficient multitasking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison with stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player supportive of colleagues.

At least 4 + years experience in Bookkeeping or accounting Xero and Xero Payroll Certifications Intermediate Word and Excel skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired Skills or Qualifications: Accounting degree Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word Certification; Well honed bookkeeping skills with above average communication skills Requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in handling complex financial tasks.
