We are hiring a Radiation Protection Officer (fulltime & permanent) in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities
We are hiring a Radiation Protection Officer (fulltime & permanent) in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Responsibilities
- In the Radiology and Radiotherapy Department assume daily primary responsibility for the implementation and oversight of radiation safety.
- Encourage the ALARA principle and culture of radiation safety across the hospital.
- Help with the evaluation and upgrading of the systems policies procedures risk assessments and other documents that support the hospitals radiation safety regulations.
Requirements
- Possess a valid registration or be qualified for one on the CORU Radiographers Registration Boards Radiation Therapists / Radiographers Register.
- Accredited Radiation Safety Course by the IIR
- Six years or more of postgraduate experience
- An awareness of and comprehension of the radiation safety concepts
- Knowledge of the most recent EU directives regulations and guidelines about radiation protection
