Job Description

The Role

As a Social Value Apprentice you will play a crucial role in delivering and measuring the impact of our social value strategy across Network Rail s Southern Regions renewals portfolio as part of the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE). This role will report into the Social Value Lead and will undertake a level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprenticeship.


Key Accountabilities.

Support the delivery of the social value strategy and delivery plan across the SRE geography.

Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders in the organisation of activities and events.

Collate and manage the social value data required to evaluate the impact of our approach.

Compile case studies and testimonials

Produce social value project reports.

Collation of feedback from external stakeholders



Requirements

Essential criteria

5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths & English grade 4 (C) 9 (A) or

Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent (Grade C or a above)

Good organisational skills.

Good IT literacy particularly in using Microsoft packages such as Excel Teams and SharePoint.

Detail orientated approach to administrative tasks and numerical proficiency.

Good communication skills both verbal and written to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable criteria

Experience of planning and coordinating events and activities.

Understanding of social value and community impacts


Behaviours

A selfstarter able to work as part of a team and work independently where required.

Passionate advocate for social value and working with underrepresented groups.
