Teamworx is currently recruiting for a prominent supermarket chain in Cork. Renowned for its high standards across retail and won national recognition on several occasions this group is in need of an outstanding Retail Deli Manager to invigorate their fresh retail departments and drive KPI performance.

Wed love to speak to a passionate person with a strong managerial background in Catering Chef roles Cafe management or Deli Supervision. Someone who is eager and competitive to advance and develop this newly revamped store drive sales and bring the team along with them. Prior experience in a handson role within a busy food operation with a strong background in KPI management good financial acumen excellent understanding of food hygiene is a must.

This is a predominantly Monday to Friday role typically with early morning shifts and an occasional Saturday. No Sundays!

Our client will offer a rate above the industry standard for the right person up to 19.50 per hour DOE plus perks.

Requirements for this Retail Supermarket Deli Manager Job:

• Strong managerial experience in fresh food retail or large catering environments
  

• Proficiency in backoffice management including reports KPIs and financial analysis.
  

• Experience in fresh management preferably with handson exposure in various fresh food departments.
  Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and lead teams effectively.

• Sound business acumen in budget management KPI tracking and target achievement.
  

• Flexibility to work varying hours including weekends and occasional late evenings
  

Responsibilities for this Retail Supermarket Deli Manager Job:

• Collaborate with fresh grocery chargehands to set objectives analyze trends and drive improvements.
  

• Work closely with the Store Manager to promote fresh initiatives and discuss sales and financial reports.
  

• Implement proactive measures to reduce overheads and ensure adherence to procedures.
  

• Liaise with retail partners to optimize displays sales and profitability.
  

• Take a handson approach in the fresh departments to foster team rapport enhance skills and achieve results.
  

• Maintain proper stock levels ensure equipment functionality and uphold food safety and health & safety regulations.
