IT Systems Specialist

Job Summary:

The IT Systems Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting the companys IT systems ensuring they run efficiently and securely. This role involves performing system maintenance troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT systems including servers networks and storage solutions
• Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and system upgrades
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support and enhance IT infrastructure
• Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps
• Provide technical support and training to endusers
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven 2 years of experience as an IT Systems Specialist or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV)
• Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
• Proficiency with storage solutions and backup technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• High level of integrity and professionalism
