Job Description
Position: RN Progressive Care/Stepdown
Start Date: 7/29/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Afternoons 11:00 AM 11:30 PM 12
Shift Notes: 12hr Mids/Afternoons 36hr GT Traveler MUST be willing to float to MS as needed
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays required if scheduled
OnCall Requirements: None
COVID Vaccination: COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23) NOW REQUIRED FOR THIS HEALTH SYSTEM.

IF APPROVED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. To avoid delays in processing please include the travelers COVID vaccination card/or intent to fill out the exemption form with profile submission.
Travel Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing please include the perm address in the profile upload

Patient Ratio: 1:2
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
** Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! No more than 5 days of RTO will be approved.
** AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO THE PROFILE PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. ANYTIME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS- 2 years of current PCU/Stepdown experience
- Traveler MUST be willing to float to any MS Unit as needed
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- ACLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. FACILITY WILL NOT PENDNOT NEGOTIABLE
- NIHSS required
- TNCC Preferred
Profile Requirements:
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications Must be uploaded with profile including Covid Vaccination proofs (dated on or after 10/3/23) or intent to file an exemption form
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- Massachusetts
- MA RN license must be in hand at profile upload. The facility will not pend license
