About Client:

Client has built the largest IP internet infrastructure with over 125000 routers interconnecting all of India to the rest of the world. The client has already installed more microcells and small cells than any other operator globally. With over 250K base stations / eNode Bs the wireless infrastructure covers

all of India without any circuitswitched infrastructure embedded in the Client network platform. The client delivers a portfolio of digital services across consumer and various industry verticals including @Home services cloud and mobile offers.

Job Title: RF Hardware Engineer
Location: Dallas TX / Santa Clara CA
Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Job Summary:
The client is looking for an RF Hardware Engineer to design develop and optimize up/down conversion systems for Client projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF and microwave engineering as well as experience in system design and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Design: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design up/down conversion systems based on project requirements.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in High Frequency (HF) design principles and methodologies with a focus on frequencies beyond 6GHz
  3. Component Selection: Select appropriate components such as mixers amplifiers filters and synthesizers to achieve desired system performance.
  4. System Integration: Integrate up/down conversion systems into larger communication systems ensuring seamless functionality.
  5. Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing to validate system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
  6. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation including schematics specifications and test reports.
  7. Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve system performance through iterative design and testing.
  8. Compliance: Ensure that up/down conversion systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of up/down conversion systems into larger systems.
  10. Research: Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in RF and microwave technology to drive innovation in our products.
  11. Technical Support: Provide technical support to other teams during system integration and troubleshooting.
  12. Experience in boardlevel mmwave design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering RF Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing up/down conversion systems for RF and microwave applications.
  • Proven Experience in PCBA
  • Proficiency in RF simulation and design tools (e.g. ADS Microwave Office).
  • Strong knowledge of RF components and their characteristics.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to RF systems.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python) for automation and data analysis is a plus.
