Job Description:
- Automation Engineering is a vital part of todays pharmaceutical and medical device industries. It promotes streamlining of processes more costeffectiveness and higher quality manufacturing lines. The automation team is focused on implementing a pipeline of capital projects and continuous improvements utilizing new technologies to meet ever growing demand for products.
Position Summary
- As an Automation Controls Engineer you will become an active member of a team applying advanced manufacturing technologies to produce medical devices. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of complex automated assembly lines packaging systems and testing systems. You will develop handson expertise in testing troubleshooting and improving the installation startup and operation of these manufacturing systems. You will be heavily involved in the software validations necessary to ensure compliance with clients quality requirements.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs Fanuc robots Machine Vision and Panel View HMIs
- Implement advanced automated solutions to improve medical device manufacturing processes
- Develop detailed requirements and Validation Protocols
- Build proof of concept and prototypes
- Collaborate with engineers to achieve expected quality levels in products.
- Conduct Software Validations following GAMP 5
- Participate in and lead code reviews.
- Ensure compliance of quality processes and standards
- Identify issues and risks and develop mitigation plans with the cross functional team to resolve project setbacks and obstacles.
Requirements/Preferences:
- Education Minimum Requirement Bachelors Degree
