We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy to join our team. The position offers significant opportunities for growth in both compensation and accounting skill development.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Preparation of working papers for Compilation Engagements yearend financial statements
Government reporting (GST/HST payroll EHT)
Preparation of Personal & Corporate Income Tax returns
T4 T5 NR4 preparation
Communication with CRA such as capital dividend election CRA reviews voluntary disclosures
Preparation of Trust returns and related distributions
Responding to clientele inquires/requests with added value
Providing advice and training to other staff members
Other responsibilities and projects as required
A successful candidate will have:
CPA designation (preferred but not required with equivalent experience)
A minimum of 5years’ experience in public accounting
Strong knowledge of corporate tax and yearend preparation
Passion for an increasing knowledge base in business and taxation
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and QuickBooks
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong timemanagement including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
A high level of accuracy and attention to details
Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
Teamoriented and clientfocused thinking
Honesty integrity promptness and ethical behavior
Salary Expectation: $100000 $115000 (*Commensurate with experience & reviewed annually based on performance) Group Benefits package RSP plan with companymatching and inclusion in the Firm’s annual bonus plan is also available.
