- Performing a comprehensive range of financial operational tasks with a focus on accounts receivable reconciliations
- Collaborating with the team to ensure all accounting and finance reporting deadlines are met
- Analyzing financial transactions and coordinating actions with the claims underwriting and operations teams
- Supporting the implementation of finance projects including the new accounting system
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enhancements in finance and business operation systems
- Liaising with auditors governmental departments and other external bodies as needed
- Carrying out ad hoc tasks and other duties assigned by the manager
- Reviewing financial data and preparing monthly quarterly and annual reports
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance operation from insurance industry
- Candidate with lesser years of experience is also encourage to apply as we are open to consider junior level role as well
- Good knowledge of insurance accounting standards. Experience in Oracle would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work and communicate effectively with different departments
- Integrity honesty understanding of data privacy standard
- Proficient with MS Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Proactive resilient a selfstarter and critical thinker
- Fluent in oral and written English. Conversational in Cantonese is highly preferred
Self-starter with good problem-solving, communication and time-management skills. Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Good command of oral and written English. Fluency in oral Mandarin Chinese is preferred. High attention to deta
