Welder

Job Requirements

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques (e.g. MIG TIG Stick).

• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.

• Operate welding equipment and related tools efficiently and safely.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Handle and transport materials to and from the work area as needed.

• Diagnose and resolve welding issues and equipment malfunctions.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting bending and working in various positions and environments.

• Availability to work flexible hours including overtime weekends and potentially in remote or harsh conditions.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a welder preferably in an oilfield or industrial setting.

• Relevant welding certifications (e.g. CWB AWS) are required.

• Strong understanding of welding techniques materials and safety practices.

• Proficiency in using welding equipment and related tools.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.

• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Strong work ethic punctuality and dependability.

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
