Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and vehicles.

• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair procedures.

• Use hand and power tools diagnostic equipment and machinery to perform repairs and maintenance.

• Follow safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

• Ensure all equipment and vehicles are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about repair and maintenance needs.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy parts and equipment.

• Availability to work flexible hours including overtime weekends and potentially in remote or harsh conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a mechanic preferably in an oilfield or industrial setting.

• Relevant certifications or licenses in mechanics are preferred.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems hydraulic systems and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in repair and maintenance tasks.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Strong work ethic punctuality and dependability.

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
