Director of Engineering

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Engineering with a background in fintech or ecommerce to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and scaling largescale financial/eCommerce systems possess strong technical skills and be passionate about driving a robust engineering culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering team providing mentorship guidance and support to ensure the team's success.

Drive the development and implementation of scalable highperformance financial systems that meet the company's requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product management design and operations to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

Establish and promote engineering best practices processes and standards to ensure quality efficiency and scalability across all engineering initiatives.

Foster a strong engineering culture focused on continuous learning and innovation.

Actively participate in handson technical contributions providing technical leadership and guidance to the team as needed.

Stay current with industry trends technologies and best practices and leverage this knowledge to drive strategic decisions and improvements within the engineering organization.

Qualifications:

15 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on fintech including 5 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven track record of successfully building and scaling largescale financial systems or fintech platforms.

Strong technical background with expertise in modern programming languages frameworks and technologies.

Handson experience with system design architecture and implementation with the ability to make strategic technical decisions.

Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.

Experience driving a strong engineering culture focused on innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.

Good understanding of different cloud hosting offerings GCP/AWS is required.

Additional Requirements:

Experience in the fintech or ecommerce industry is highly preferred.

Prior experience working in a startup or fastpaced environment is a plus.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a resultsoriented mindset.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment with a passion for driving impact and delivering results.
