Design Engineer - Mechanical Systems

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers for a company engaged in providing WorldClass turnkey engineering automation solutions & machines which delivers endtoend engineering and automation solutions right from conceptualization stage to commissioning of the system.

You will work on developing high quality and efficient Special Purpose Machines and delivering outstanding engineering capabilities across diverse Industries ranging from Manufacturing FMCG and Pharmaceuticals.

Objectives of this role

• Translate the clients briefing to components through innovative and reliable mechanical product development
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of the machine design process from planning and design to testing and implementation
• Analyze the mechanical design and refine it as per the requirement

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems keeping in mind the budget timelines and other essential resources
• Perform regular tests and experiments to determine how to better improve a component
• Use CAD and 3D CAD programs to plan the mechanical design projects
• Troubleshoot problems and devise solutions to resolve them
• Research and keep up with the dynamic technology and trends in the mechanical design spectrum
• 2D and 3D Designing using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Concept development
• Provide all type of technical documentation within a project
• Root cause analysis
• Knowledge of mechanical standard parts
• Knowledge of material properties
• Bill of material
• DFMEA

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering with 13 years experience
• Hands on experience of SolidWorks
• Prior experience working as a mechanical design engineer or machine designer
• Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings and 3D modelling
• Sound knowledge of GD&T
• Strong verbal written and communications skills
