As a Business Development Officer you will play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities within the education sector. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting market research managing enquiries improving conversion rates and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team participate in lead generation initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our educational offerings.
Job Description:
- Identify Business Opportunities: Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint growth areas and new opportunities for attracting domestic students.
- Manage Enquiries and Conversion Rates: Efficiently handle appointments and enquiries implementing strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Support Marketing and Lead Generation: Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation initiatives and participate in promotional events.
- Networking and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners clients learners parents and employers.
- Internal Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align business development strategies with our educational offerings. Compliance with RTO Standards: Ensure all activities comply with relevant RTO standards and regulations.
- Recruitment Strategies: Implement both direct and indirect recruitment strategies including targeted advertising and digital marketing.
- Marketing Campaigns and Events: Coordinate and participate in marketing campaigns events expos and career days.
- Sales Presentations and Contract Negotiations: Develop sales presentations and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
- Understanding of Government Funded Contracts: Knowledge of Smart and Skilled NSW funding is highly desirable.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within an RTO setting focusing on sales in Government Funded Programs.
Interpersonal and Sales Skills: Strong communication and sales skills to engage effectively with potential students and stakeholders.
Construction Programs Experience (Desirable) : Experience in an RTO with Construction programs for apprenticeships is advantageous.
Building Rapport: Proven ability to build positive relationships to drive enrollment.
Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Industry Familiarity: Sound understanding of the education and training industry including relevant regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software Microsoft Office suite and other business tools.
Proactive and GoalOriented: Adaptable mindset able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
