Web Developer

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• Fulltime
  
• Mon Fri 9am 6pm UK Time (4:00 PM to 1:00 AM PHT) with 1 hour lunch break
  

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain web applications across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript including backend express services and React clients.
  
• Liaise with Product Strategy and Product Team leadership to understand Roadmap priorities provide guidance on the best technical solution for initiatives and optimal team resources to align against said initiatives
  
• Collaborate across team members to produce loosely coupled highly maintainable backend systems.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements iterate functionality and contribute to the overall success of the product.
  
• Plan estimate and prioritize work in a remote distributed team environment.
  

Requirements

• 3 years experience in full stack web development
  
• Proficient in Node.js javascript and typescript technologies.
  
• Proficient building React web applications
  
• Proficient in both relational databases and NoSQL (MongoDB/PostgresSQL)
  
• Familiar with inmemory datastores (Redis Memcached)
  
• Experience building REST services
  
• Experience with GraphQL services
  
• Familiarity with React storybook / component driven development
  
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  

Qualifications (Preferred)

• 5 years experience in full stack web development.
  
• Familiarity with functional programming and Software design patterns.
  
• Understanding of asynchronous operations.
  
• Experience building microservice architecture at scale.
  
• Experience working with agile development methodologies.
