Job Description

Korzen Health is working with one of the largest healthcare systems in the area.

We are currently hiring a PMHNP Consult/Liason. Come join a growing department as they expand more services. Currently we are looking for candidates available for weekend shifts.

Job details:

  • Work within a ER or Medical Surgical unit
  • Weekend shifts available.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients mental health status medication needs and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists social workers and medical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medication for clients with a focus on minimizing side effects and monitoring for drug interactions.
  • Provide medication education to clients and family members to ensure proper compliance and understanding.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress treatment adjustments and ongoing care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay uptodate on best practices new research and medications related to psychiatric and behavioral health care.
