Job Description
This is a brand new opportunity to join a small but multisited firm of accountants based in Canterbury as a Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accoutnant or Accounts Senior you will report directly into the partner and be responsible for looking after a client portfolio and supporting the partner with the day to day running of the practice.
- Manage your own client portfolio made up of sole traders partnerships and small Ltd companies.
- Accounts preparation for your client base
- Personal and business tax compliance
- Reviewing bookkeeping CIS and VAT returns
- Liaising with clients colleagues and third parties
- Providing clients with basic tax planning and advice
- Supporting a small team with their personal development
Requirements
- You will have 3 years experience working within a practice environment.
- Experience of Sage Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
- Studying Qualified or qualified by experience.
Benefits
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senir or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
