As a Cyber Security Incident Lead you will:
- Lead Enterprisewide Cyber Security Incident Response focusing on coordination procedural technical risk management and communications aspects.
- Lead Enterprisewide Vulnerability Management including reviewing new vulnerabilities identifying vulnerable assets assessing exploitability operational and business impact mitigation options and tracking remediation actions.
- Lead the execution of Enterprisewide Defence Cyber Operations to preserve freedom of action in cyberspace.
- Transform cyber strategic objectives into execution plans including translating strategic/operational objectives into technical execution leading tracking correcting and reporting on execution status.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team in highpressure situations to achieve objectives.
- Create and maintain a network of cyber security personnel to facilitate communication and coordination of urgent actions when needed.
- Redact review and prepare reports recommendations and presentations on Cyber Security Incident Response Vulnerability Management and Defensive Cyber Operations to executivelevel staff and Security Authorities.
- Deliver quality briefings adapted to various audiences on Cyber Security Incident Response Vulnerability Management and Defensive Cyber Operations.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A university degree in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and at least 8 years of specific experience or at least 15 years of extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
- At least 8 years of demonstrable experience in handling complex Cyber Security Incidents ideally in an international governmental or military environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Computer and Communication Security principles networking and vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
- Excellent communication skills and reporting experience with the ability to communicate with senior executives middle management and both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in leading teams to success in adverse conditions.
- Indepth knowledge in the management of Vulnerabilities and Cyber Security protective measures.
- Professional certification in Cyber Security Incident Handling.
- Professional certification in IT Service Management.
You should possess the ability to:
- Lead and coordinate complex cyber security incident response and vulnerability management efforts across an enterprise.
- Translate strategic and operational objectives into actionable technical execution plans.
- Motivate and lead a diverse team in highpressure situations.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders including technical experts military personnel and executives.
- Develop and maintain a network of cyber security professionals for efficient communication and coordination.
