Job Title:.NET Developer (Microservices Transition SME)

Location: Minneapolis / St. Paul preferred remote

Job Type: 12 yr. Contract no C2C.

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to help identify a path forward from .Net to various Microservices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development varied experience with microservices and experience in technical projects. This role requires leadership skills technical expertise/ownership and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Some of this work will not be glamourous but will create the foundation for the consumerfacing side of the organization. This role is not slated as a contracttohire but many new connections will be fostered and the chance for consideration should the opportunity open.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design development and deployment of microservices ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and implement new features and enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Conduct code reviews ensuring highquality code and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with architects and other stakeholders to develop a comprehensive microservices strategy and roadmap.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges related to the transition to microservices.
• Ensure the seamless integration of microservices with existing systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for microservices architecture design patterns and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or commensurate work experice
• 57 years of experience in .NET development or a combination of .NET and Java
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of software development principles design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Azure
• Proficiency with Jira and Atlassian
• Familiarity with Oracle Databases
• Familiarity with containerization technologies
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to the team by sharing new ideas.
