Job Description:
The Accounts Coordinator will play a vital role in managing the daytoday accounting functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Previous experience in Agriculture/Manufacturing industry is a preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
