Medical Interpreter

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced medical interpreter to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing accurate and professional consecutive interpretation services between Romanian and English in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate effective communication between Romanianspeaking patients and Englishspeaking medical staff

Interpret medical terminology instructions and conversations accurately and confidentially

Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality

Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure clear understanding of medical information

Requirements:

Nativelevel proficiency in Romanian and proficient English language skills

Minimum 3 years of prior experience in medical consecutive interpretation

Uptodate HIPAA certification (2024)

Excellent listening communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced highpressure environment

Working Hours:

4 hours daily between 8 AM and 5 PM EST
