Production Operative

As a Production Operative in our Ultraseal Coventry plant you will report to the Production Supervisor working within a team to meet production and quality goals aimed at exceeding customer expectations.

Tasks

• Manufacture our products in accordance with procedures.
• Prepare pack and despatch of all sales orders in accordance with procedures.
• Process of incoming goods in accordance with procedures.
• To understand & comply with all documentary and procedural requirements at all times.
• Clean maintain and setup the assigned area and equipment. This is essential to ensuring we comply with the current regulations and keep our equipment and machines fit for purpose.
• Daily use of computers and various software applications.
• Good Housekeeping ensure their work space is clean and organized according to standards.
• Health and Safety behavior compliance reporting any issues to supervisor/manager.
• Forklift driving is frequently necessary for material handling.

Requirements

• Experience: We are ideally looking for candidates who have worked in the manufacturing environment and also have forklift driving experience.
• Languages: Good English language skills
• Valid Forklift license is a necessary requirement.
• GCSE education with a good understanding of math.
• Some experience working with computers.
