• 44 hours per week 4 nights
• £13.68 per hour PLUS £3 enhancement* for overtime
• 8pm 8am shifts

Join us at Oak Springs our luxury purposebuilt residential care home in Wavertree. Here at Oak Springs we provide the highest standard of residential respite and dementia care for older people.

Our beautiful 74bedded home is spread across 3 floors and our lively team supports the vibrant community of residents to enjoy everything from music rooms and a beauty salon to peaceful lounge and courtyard areas. We embrace sensory enlightenment encourage individuality and focus on enhancing quality of life rather than just preserving it.

As a Senior Care Assistant at our home your role may involve:

• Undertaking any necessary training
• Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene eating and getting involved with daily activities
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life focussed on their individual hobbies preferences and abilities
• Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
• Seniorlevel duties to support the Home Manager which may involve: staff supervisions appraisals recordkeeping medication administration care planning audits liaising with outside professionals interviewing etc..

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

What are we looking for

• Supervisory/leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
• A positive outlook and warm personality
• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards
• Confident in recordkeeping and the use of various technologies
• Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
• Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
