Position: BAS Controls Programmer/Technician
Job Description:
The BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team responsible for the installation programming startup troubleshooting commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers contractors engineers and fellow team members.
Job Duties:
- Manage installation subcontractors during the construction phase of projects to keep them on track and on schedule.
- Create software programs and animated frontend graphics.
- Perform checkout startup and commissioning on projects.
- Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Be familiar with various hand and power tools.
- Perform service repairs adjustments and calibration on building systems.
- Coordinate customer training and complete closeout documents.
- Provide technical support and direction to endusers and employees when applicable.
- Follow and perform other instructions and related duties as set forth by management.
Job Requirements:
- 35 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems BACnet Siemens Apogee.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed.
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with IP networks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Years of Experience: 35 years with Siemens Systems
Education: High School Diploma and/or Trade School
Certificates Required: Siemens Apogee PPCL
