• Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  
• Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company s financial performance; assessing profitability liquidity and solvency ratios identify trends and present findings to management for informed decisionmaking.
  

• Coordinate the activities of External Auditors ensuring all audit issues are addressed. This will include ensuring that there is an audit file for the yearend audit.
  
• Oversee the activities of the commercial banks as well as ensuring adequate and effective bank reconciliation process in the company.
  
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the companys assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data. Design and implement control procedures to minimize the risk of fraud errors and misstatements.
  
• Ensure that revenue collection is captured accurately and that all reconciliations are implemented in a timely manner.
  

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field CPA preferred.

3 years experience in a finance portfolio.

Experience in usage of accounting software such as SAGE Oracle etc.

Conversant with office applications like Word processing spreadsheets Power point and database etc.

Be a member in good standing of a professional accountancy organization (PAO) recognized by IFAC.

Knowledge of the accountancy profession in Rwanda.

Ability to work in a fastpaced and lively environment.

Ability to work to deadlines work quickly to change.
