Financial Controller

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to manage and report on the local finances and support the General Manager in overseeing daytoday financial operations. The role includes supporting local HR activities contributing to logistics and administration processes and ensuring a successful transition of tasks to align with our longterm organisational plan at the end of the contract the contract end date is April 2025.

Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Lead Financial Reporting: Handle financial reports for Evac Korea ensuring compliance with Group standards taxation and audit requirements.
• Project Management: Oversee the seamless handover of duties at the contracts end to both internal staff and outsourced third parties.
• SAP Champion: Maintain and develop our SAP Business One system working closely with thirdparty consultants.
• Tax & Treasury Management: Manage local taxes company bank accounts credit cards and weekly invoicing.
• Strategic Planning: Prepare annual budgets credit reports and profit and cash flow forecasts.
• Statutory Compliance: Prepare statutory annual financial statements and oversee external audits.
• Expense & Payroll Oversight: Manage monthly expenses and payroll processes efficiently.

HR:

• Employee Lifecycle Management: Issue contracts manage insurances and employee benefits.
• Time & Attendance: Oversee employee attendance and authorise overtime.
• Data Integrity: Maintain accurate data in our EPP (HR system).
• Employee Relations: Update the local handbook to align with legislation and global policies.
• Training & Development: Ensure timely completion of local education and training for employees.

General Manager Support:

• Policy Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to the handbook and global policies.
• Decision Support: Provide financial insights to aid strategic decisionmaking.
• Operational Efficiency: Support the General Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the business.

Admin & Logistics:

• Asset Management: Maintain the Asset Register company car log insurances utility bills and IT equipment.
• Weekly Dispatch Monitoring: Keep track of dispatch/orders and report weekly invoicing.
• Import/Export Management: Handle all import/export documents arrange pickups raise invoices and pay customs fees.
