Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic forwardthinking Data Scientist (DS) to join our vibrant team in AniCura. You will be at the forefront of all things data related working with a team that is not just analyzing data but revolutionizing the way we operate and eventually changing the lives of pets for the better. The DS will work to advance data analytics & drive advanced data analytics/machine learning capabilities and visualize business requests through data and dashboards and provide insights to answer business questions / solve business problems of MVHI and AniCura.

• Languages: Proficient in English
• Contract: Full Time
• Mandatory Skills: Experience working with Python SQL Machine Learning
• Employment Visa: Preference for Candidates with a Valid Work Permit

Roles and Responsibilities

• Data Mastery: Work with diverse data structures and processes.
• Advanced Analytics: Perform detailed machine learning analyses on both structured and unstructured data on premise and in the cloud.
• Team Support: Provide design and data modeling advice.
• Project Management: Manage your own deliverables and timelines.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Exchange information and provide status updates.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize Python PySpark and SQL effectively.

About you:

• Experience: 3 years in data science business intelligence or consulting.
• Education: Relevant professional education in data analytics statistics economics computer science or a related field.
• Skillset: Proficient in Power BI/Query SQL Python and Databricks.
• Data Proficiency: Experience with large complex datasets and translating data into actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a knack for translating data into actionable insights
• Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Azure Suite Power Automate PySpark ETL and dataflows of data warehouses is a plus.
