Master's degree or higher
2 years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
Neonatal NP in North Carolina (NC)
Board Certified

**Overview**

TheWeirdIndustries has an excellent opportunity for an experienced fulltime Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand new 10bed LDRP LevelI Nursery. The ideal NNP opportunity includes responsibilities such as daily rounds on newborns attending deliveries and stabilizing newborns for transport to adjacent NICUs. Compensation and benefits are competitive and the location offers easy access to Charlotte and its amenities.

**Key Responsibilities**

This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
An average daily census of about 5 newborns
24hour shifts: rounding on newborns inhouse during the day and then taking call from home
NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns attending deliveries when requested and taking call from home
Practitioners would also stabilize manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care
The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 Neonatologists and 56 NNPs who provide care at our Medical CenterGastonia which is only 7 miles away
Opportunities to do supplemental PRN shifts at the level III NICU in Gastonia may be possible but are not required as this position is for the Level 1 nursery
The Medical Center is located just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 8 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport which has nonstop flights to over 180 destinations

Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP PNP or any other NP certifications)
Not accepting new graduate candidates 2 years' experience as NNP required
Not accepting Locums candidates
