Account Manager

Your Main Objective:
Call on Retailers presenting product for a manufacturer and national distributor of parts tools and equipment in the building materials industry (specifically in the roofing category).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service the employer’s current clients and create new ones.
• Detail company products to relevant retailers.
• Be on the road every day and follow through with scheduled appointments.
• Work out of a Ford F150 truck and with whatever small office type setting you’ll have at home

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in any field – business or arts preferred.
• 13 years of experience in the building materials or construction industry.
• Maximum 5 – 7 years of experience post college.
• Exposure to construction work and knowledge of tools is a plus.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• A background in sports in High School or College will be seen as congruent with being a strong competitor.
• Able to do 3 or 4 overnights a month
• Able to travel to Headquarters in Massachusetts for 2 weeks of training / orientation (expenses covered)
