Job Description

2 Months contract with a Local Authority

Job Summary:

Benefit assessors to work solely on new claims.

You must be able to assess all types of Housing Benefit claims including Supported Temporary accommodation selfemployed PFAs and Council Tax Support claims.

Key Duties/Accountabilities

You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of benefit legislation.

You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines and targets with a customer focused approach.

Essential Experience Required:

A minimum of 2 years experience working as a benefits assessor is essential.

Experience using Civica Open Revenues and D360 is desirable.

Essential Qualification Required:

A good general standard of education written and good verbal skills is essential.

Additional information to note:

Working hours: 37 hours per week.

The role is Hybrid.

We are looking for 2 benefit assessors to work solely on new claims, with a minimum of 2 year s experience. You must be able to assess all types of Housing Benefit claims including Supported, Temporary accommodation, self-employed, PFAs and Council Tax Support claims
