We are Hiring a Hepatobiliary Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for our Hospital client in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Plan and initiate care and treatment modalities within agreed protocols to achieve patientcentred outcomes and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Utilize assessment skills and techniques to determine each patient/family needs.
- Plan all care in collaboration with the patient.
- Run reports as requested by Consultants or hospital leadership.
- Increase patient satisfaction with the service.
- Improve patient outcomes through education and health promotion.
- Attend ward rounds and clinics as required
Requirements
- be listed on An Bord Altranaiss general division of the nursing register.
- Possess a minimum of three to five years of acute setting postregistration experience.
- Possess demonstrated clinical and professional aptitude
- Possess outstanding leadership interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A solid understanding of operational topics about the evaluation treatment and management of hepatobiliary patients including pre and postoperative protocols and procedures.
- Proficiency in nursing standards policies procedures and protocols that are relevant to the care of patients with hepatobiliary disorders
