HEAVY DUTY TECHNICIANMECHANIC

Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy duty vehicles and their systems as well as a commitment to quality and safety. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues on heavy duty vehicles ensuring that they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex issues on heavy duty vehicles including engines transmissions and hydraulic systems.
  
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and provide recommendations for repairs.
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes filter replacements and brake inspections.
  
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
  
• Ensure that work area is clean and organized at all times.
  
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  
• Strong understanding of heavy duty vehicles and their systems.
  
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex issues on heavy duty vehicles.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with team members.
  
• ASE certification preferred.
  
• Valid drivers license.
