Freelance Solution Architect Role in Belgium
Position: Freelance Solution Architect
Location: Belgium
Languages Required: Native or Fluent Dutch or French

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in Belgium. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing robust IT solutions that meet both business and technical requirements. This role requires proficiency in either Dutch or French at a native or fluent level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Architecture: Develop highlevel solutions and architectures that align with business objectives and technical standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders project managers and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and technical leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation including architectural diagrams design specifications and implementation plans.
- Evaluation and Selection: Assess and recommend appropriate technologies tools and platforms for solution implementation.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices security standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: Native or fluent level in Dutch or French.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant technologies and platforms such as cloud computing enterprise software databases and integration frameworks.
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication problemsolving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
2nd pillar pension - Regulatory - New Retirement Age Freelance Context Actuarial/business consultant with minimum 2-5 years relevant experience in 2nd pension pilar for employees (corporate clients) Technical skills needed to implement the changes directly in our calculation program Communication and presenting skills to prepare mission status updates for project lead Able to learn quickly and work very autonomously, solution oriented, feedback culture Strong planning and organization skills FR or NL speaking with a good understanding of the second language.
