Job Description

What you will be doing:
- Delivering pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric healthcare and patient management
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribing and in some cases dispensing medications
- Educating patients and/or families about preventive care medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications
- Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions
- Recording medical histories and conducting physical exams
- Adhering to infectioncontrol policies and protocols
- Operating basic medical equipment and instruments
- Performing minor procedures such as suturing casting and other minor procedures
- Attending events in the community for new patient acquisition and growth
- Adhering to all HIPAA protocols clinical guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Participating in team meetings education conferences and special projects
Experience you will need:
- National Certification from an accredited school
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care Nurse Practitioner/APRN role
- Experience providing primary care to a pediatric and adult population
- Current National Certification and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
- License to practice independently in Utah
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Spanish
- EPIC personality (empathy patience integrity and compassion)
