PDI Process Management:
- Develop and implement standardized PDI procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with production logistics and dealership teams to streamline the PDI workflow.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a team of PDI inspectors and support staff providing training guidance and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement within the PDI department.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure all PDI inspections adhere to manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor the quality of PDI operations and identify areas for improvement.
Inventory and Resource Management:
- Manage inventory of PDI tools equipment and supplies to support efficient operations.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of necessary resources for PDI activities.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare reports on PDI performance metrics including inspection results turnaround times and defect rates.
- Analyze data to identify trends root causes of issues and opportunities for process enhancements.
Customer Satisfaction and Support:
- Collaborate with dealership teams to address customer feedback related to PDI inspections and vehicle quality.
- Implement corrective actions and improvements to enhance customer satisfaction with PDI processes.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Automotive Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Extensive experience in PDI management within the automotive industry preferably with a Chinese automotive brand.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and PDI management software.
