Cloud Data Architect

Position Overview: The AWS Cloud Architect with Snowflake expertise will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining cloudbased solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture data warehousing and data management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable secure and highperformance cloud architectures on AWS.
  
• Lead the migration of data and applications to the cloud ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and transformation using Snowflake.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud architecture.
  
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance cost and scalability.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
  
• Stay current with the latest cloud and data warehousing technologies and trends.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Snowflake.
  
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS Lambda IAM and VPC.
  
• Indepth knowledge of Snowflake architecture security and data modeling.
  
• Proficiency in SQL Python and other scripting languages.
  
• Experience with data integration tools such as AWS Glue Informatica or Talend.
  
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts ETL processes and data governance.
  
• Developing ETL processes using Airflow AWS Glue Spark and Python to extract transform and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) and Snowflake certifications are a plus.
