Job Description
Electrical Engineer: Workington Cumbria
Salary :DOE pa
MacArthur Recruitment is working for a UKbased manufacturing engineering organisation who are looking for a degree qualified Electrical Engineer to be part of the engineering project delivery and maintenance team and ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements and the shop floor machinery are maintained. You will also help look after the electrical aspects of the inhouse plant equipment and machinery.
Overview of the Electrical Engineer role :
- work from existing designs to manufacture and provide commissioning support on electrical components and panels inhouse and onsite
- to provide electrical maintenance and repair to inhouse plant and machinery
- assist in electrical build on project work for clients
- attend technical meetings with clients
- liaise with the project team to identify and resolve any problems associated with the design of equipment and project delivery
- participate in technical meetings with clients colleagues subcontractors and other stakeholders
- work closely with other internal stakeholders in order to ensure client requirements are correctly interpreted and reflected in the deliverables
- ensure regular effective communication with clients and project teams
- provide support within the business for the electrical department including maintenance.
Requirements
Your background for the Electrical Engineer role some of :
- an Electrical degree
- demonstrable experience in industryrelated field essential
- experience within heavy industry build to design and manufacturing bespoke equipment ideally
- experience in an equipment design environment desirable
- knowledge of quality assurance requirements and procedures
- able to provide maintenance strip out and repair of electrical components on plant eg lathes and other manufacturing machinery
- working from provided drawings to build electrical boards and panels
