You will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of Account Managers and Logistics Coordinators to ensure we are providing best in class service to their Customers. The Operations Team Lead is someone who has a proven track record of account growth excellent communication skills and an overall drive to succeed and improve processes.
Requirements
Manage a specific group of accounts and leading a team of operations representatives
Delegate tasks to ensure each team member is being effectively utilized and tasks are being completed within expected timelines
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships and coaching the team to do the same
Work with team to identify further business opportunities to expand our business with customers
Monitoring trends and changes to customer purchasing behaviour and work with the team to determine root cause and retention strategies
Ensure all Customer orders are entered into TRAFFIX TMS in a timely manner
Proactively identifying potential problems and resolving them before they escalate
Ensure team is providing adhoc rates to clients upon request or in response to automated load tendering sites
Assist in the collection process for accounts when requested by the AR team
Also
Follow up with Customers regarding delays missed appointments and late arrivals
Writing clientspecific SOPs and ensure training of back up Account Managers to cover vacation and/or other time off within the Team
Develop sales strategies and targets to present to upper management to increase client wallet share
Maintain a highly productive team with a positive management style conducive to the TRAFFIX cultural values
Be the first escalation point for assistance with issues on loads and ensure they re resolved to exceed Customer expectations
Lend support and guidance to AM s and LC s as required
