Estimator takeoff- Construction Planner

On behalf of or client we are seeking a highly motivated Engineer Estimator.In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our projects by providing accurate and timely cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project blueprints floor plans and specifications to thoroughly understand project scope and requirements.
• Conduct indepth material takeoffs meticulously calculating the quantities of materials needed for each project phase.
• Research and obtain current market prices for materials labor and equipment.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates including detailed breakdowns of material labor and overhead costs.
• Collaborate with engineers architects and project managers to ensure estimates are aligned with project goals.
• Prepare and present estimates to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices in cost estimating.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering estimating or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction materials methods and costs.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g. Planswift CostX).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
