The Workshop and Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all workshop operations and fleet management activities within the organization. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and vehicles are maintained repaired and operated efficiently coordinating with various departments and implementing maintenance programs to ensure the smooth functioning of workshop and fleet activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the workshop and fleet to ensure efficiency and quality.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for equipment and vehicles.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
Supervise and manage workshop and fleet staff providing training and support as needed.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and inventory.
Manage procurement of spare parts tools and supplies to ensure availability when needed.
Monitor and control workshop and fleet expenses to adhere to budget.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop and fleet operations and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Provide regular reports to senior management on workshop and fleet performance and any issues.
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Logistics or a related field.
Proven experience as a Workshop Manager Fleet Manager or similar role.
Indepth knowledge of workshop operations maintenance and fleet management practices.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Proficiency in maintenance management and fleet management software and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of the Saudi market and regulatory environment is an advantage.
