They strive to be a one stop shop for customers getting them back into their driver s seat and back on the road as soon as possible.


They are seeking an experienced Auto Collision Estimator to join the Isherwood Body & Fender team in Duncan BC. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the repair process by accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing detailed repair estimates. You will be responsible for evaluating collision damage estimating repair costs and coordinating with customers insurance companies and technicians to ensure a timely and excellent customer service experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for precision a drive to outperform previous benchmarks and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment that handles all makes and models.



Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to accurately assess the extent of collision damage;
  • Utilize your expertise to estimate repair costs accurately;
  • Communicate with customers to explain the repair process presenting detailed estimates and addressing any questions or concerns;
  • Collaborate with insurance companies and adjusters to provide accurate repair estimates obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines;
  • Coordinate with the collision repair team including technicians to prioritize repair jobs source and order parts and schedule repairs to meet customer and insurance requirements;
  • Source OEM repair procedures for your files through All Data;
  • Develop a repair plan for each customer s vehicle including taking and attaching digital images to support all estimate line items;
  • Prepare estimates in accordance with insurance companies policies and company guidelines in a timely manner;
  • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of repairs including any changes or additional repairs discovered during the repair process;
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of repair estimates parts orders customer interactions and insurance related information;
  • Monitor repair timelines and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely completion of repairs managing customers expectations accordingly;
  • Handle supplements promptly to ensure all technicians can continue with repairs;
    Reconcile files to be ready to submit for payment.



Requirements

  • 2 years experience in collision estimating with prior experience working as a collision repair appraiser;
  • 2 years experience working with Mitchell and Audatex estimating platforms;
  • Experience dealing with the various insurance company procedures;
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the repair process with prior experience as a technician at a collision repair center;
  • Experience with Body Shop Connect management systems is an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills & problemsolving skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor with the ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally;
  • Solid customer service skills;
  • A valid and clean driver s license abstract is a requirement for this position and must be able to drive standard vehicles.


This full time (MondayFriday) in office position offers an excellent total compensation package including extended health and dental as well as training and development opportunities. The salary range for this position is $65000 $80000 per annum depending on experience.
