You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur client is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a contract to hire role in Suwanee GA. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for equipment and facility preventive and predictive maintenance. Job responsibilities will be received through written and/or oral instructions from the Supervisor or Lead Person.
Hours: Monday Friday 40 hours. 6am 2:45pm
OT required Saturday 6 hours. 5am 1pm
Skills:
High School or equivalent required.
AS degree or advanced technical training/certifications preferred with concentration in electrical.
Five years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment.
PC experience required with basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and drawings.
Must have strong skills in: o automation control o hydraulic systems o pneumatics
Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to conduct problemsolving analysis and seek resolution to problems in a timely manner sensitive to production needs.
Must be able to setup and maintain a schedule for maintenance of equipment.
Must be able to manage and monitor projects to ensure completion as scheduled.
Must be a goaloriented team player.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work overtime as required (weekends offshifts holidays etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned.
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical controls machine tools and plant equipment where knowledge of electrical and electronic theory is required.
Setup the calibration schedule of the main equipment.
Operate electrical test equipment such as voltmeter ampmeter and ohmmeter.
Guarantee production support systems such as power and water supply are in good working condition. Maintain plant HVAC system; i.e. filters coil cleaning.
Perform any work of equal or lower grades as requested to support the operations of the facility. Participate in required training and completion of project work by the assigned due date.
Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner. Observe all quality safety hygiene and environmental rules and regulations.
Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5day work week 8hour shift with overtime required:
