Job Description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
  • Work closely with project sponsors crossfunctional teams and assigned project managers to develop the scope deliverables required resources work plan budget and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate and delegate crossproject initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for crossfunctional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
  • Analyze evaluate and overcome program risks and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with the Client representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concern.
  • Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls contracts and quality control provisions.
  • Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
  • Ensure that project operations comply with design specifications and client requirements.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
  • Minimum 20 years experience in managing largescale infrastructure programs consisting of multiple projects.
  • Experience with major government and/or semigovernment programs and project implementations.
  • Extensive Experience in the construction management of water and wastewater works.
  • Experience in implementing a zeroaccident philosophy.
  • A record of engagement with government entities/utility providers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working internationally.
