Restaurant Service Employee

Atithi is a chain of finedining Indian restaurants located in the Netherlands. Atithi is wellknown for its authentic Indian food guestcentric service and beautiful modern ambiance. We are now looking for professionals passionate about the hospitality industry who want to work in an international organization.

Tasks

• Taking care of mise en place such as setting/preparing tables laying out cutlery and table linen etc.
• Assisting with the setup of rooms (receptions and parties)
• Receiving and seating guests
• Taking orders and providing information where necessary consulting the manager or the kitchen about special wishes of guests
• Passing orders to the kitchen or buffet
• If necessary prepare simple orders yourself (pouring drinks preparing small dishes/snacks etc.)
• Supplying and preparing buffets
• Serving dishes drinks
• Checking paying and accounting for funds received
• Preparing invoices and settling payments with guests
• Accepting/recording table reservations coordinating with manager in case of special questions or expected problems with table occupancy
• Cleaning up and clearing up afterwards
• Clearing/cleaning public areas and work areas

Requirements

• A minimum of a 2years Diploma (MBO level2 working and thinking) in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is required to facilitate communication with our team of international colleagues.
• Knowledge of the (legal) regulations in the field of safety and (social) hygiene.
• Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine is preferred.
• Familiarity with Indian ingredients including spices and wellknown dishes is preferred.
