Job Description
Job Title: Audiologist
Job Type: Fulltime and nbsp;
Pay Rate: $60 $65 Per hour and nbsp;
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm (Shifts may vary based on clinic needs)
Job Summary:
- Provide comprehensive audiology services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Conduct diagnostic hearing tests evaluate middle ear function prescribe and fit hearing aids offer counseling and provide ongoing support.
- Ideal candidate holds a valid New York State audiology license is enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare has 2 years of experience with developmental disabilities and expertise in billing.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and compliance with training requirements is necessary. and nbsp;
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic hearing tests and impedance/middle ear testing. and nbsp;
- Evaluate hearing aid candidacy provide recommendations and conduct followup care.
- Offer counseling support and onsite training to individuals and staff.
- Complete billing for Medicaid Medicare and thirdparty insurance accurately.
- Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and participate in training sessions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology or related field valid New York State audiology license and authorized Hearing Aid Dispenser.
- Enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare with 2 years of experience with developmental disabilities and familiarity with Medicaid billing processes.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems strong communication interpersonal organizational and time management skills. and nbsp;
Required Documents for Application:
- Resume(s) at least 3 professional references.
- Valid professional license picture ID and documentation verifying board certification.
- TB testing/inoculation according to 14 NYCRR Section 633.14 and proof of two MMR inoculations. and nbsp;
